Over the last few years, we’ve all enjoyed the perks of working from home: flexibility, no commute, and let’s be honest… comfy clothes.
But as much as I appreciate that, I’ve also realized that being in the office with the team brings something remote work just can’t replicate: synergy and shared energy.
When we’re in the same space, ideas flow so differently. Those “let’s schedule a Zoom” moments often just happen naturally over coffee, and sometimes that’s where the best breakthroughs come from. You can feel the energy, the problem-solving, and the sense of “we’re in this together".
Personally, I’ve come to enjoy the change of environment.
Don’t get me wrong, home has its comforts, but sitting in the same spot day after day can get a little stale. Going into the office is a mental reset, it sparks fresh thinking, helps me keep work-life balance, and gives me a chance to actually see my colleagues (imagine that). Also, I believe that it is through change that we grow and thrive. And sometimes, that change is as simple as a new environment, and the people you share it with.
