Reflecting on 2025 and Looking Ahead to 2026

As this year comes to an end, I’ve been taking time to reflect on what 2025 has meant to me professionally and personally. It’s been a year of growth, turbulence, and important reminders.

Gamebassadors Reached a New Milestone

One of the biggest highlights has been watching Gamebassadors grow from a small business into a medium-sized company. Moving into our own office for the first time changed more than just our address, it changed our mindset. It created a sense of stability and long-term commitment that you can’t buy. Crossing the 20-person mark is something I’m genuinely proud of, and it motivates me to keep building the kind of company people are excited to be part of.

Lessons as an Investor

My work as an investor brought its own set of challenges this year — markets shifted, assumptions were tested, and several plans didn’t unfold the way we expected. The real lesson wasn’t about the specific wins or losses, but about the discipline required to stay adaptable.

I had to learn to zoom out, re-evaluate theses, and accept that sometimes the right move is to slow down instead of push forward.

What helped most was focusing only on the variables I can influence, not the ones I wish I could. That shift saved me a lot of energy and made me a better partner to the founders I work with.

Personal Growth

Privately, 2025 was a demanding year as well. A lot changed, some of it by choice, some of it outside my control. What surprised me is that even though I’m not exactly where I imagined I would be at this point, I feel more grounded than ever.

I learned how to let go of timelines I set for myself years ago, and instead focus on the quality of my everyday life.

That sense of calm didn’t come from everything going right, it came from learning how to be okay even when things weren’t perfect. Maybe that’s age, or maybe it’s experience, but it’s a good place to be.

Looking Ahead to 2026

We're going to reach our goals next year as well with Gamebassadors. We have a few exciting growth initiatives lined up that will fuel our next stage of growth. I’m energized by what’s ahead for the team.

Big update! I’m also working on launching a new start-up! It's something I’m genuinely excited about and eager to share more about soon.

One of my biggest realizations this year is that less is more. In 2026, my focus is to filter out the noise and invest my time in “Less Is More” as a core principle, where it creates the greatest impact, professionally and personally.

Above everything, my most important goal for 2026 is peace of mind. 2025 has been turbulent, but I’ve learned that stability, structure, and wise decisions all stem from inner clarity. Peace of mind isn’t something you wait for, it’s something you build.
